With the London School of Economics and the University of Exeter reporting that more than one in 10 people aged 16 – 25 have lost their job during covid-19 pandemic, many graduates are looking to gain additional qualifications.
Now don’t worry, unlike the UK Governments insensitive Rethink. Reskill. Reboot. campaign where Fatima was encouraged to trade in her ballet shoes for a life in cybersecurity, I’m not suggesting that anyone should embark on a course that they’re not passionate about. But as a proud philomath (a lover of learning and studying), I believe that lifelong learning helps us adapt to unexpected changes. It also allows us to challenge our thinking and grow.
